Design Fundamentals
Thanks to the self-adjusting and sectional vanes, our design not only eliminates the torsional torque originated from the different wind speed in different heights, but makes braking against increased wind speed unnecessary as well.
Benefits
Its special structure enables power generation even at as low wind speed as 3-4 m/s. Substantial efficiency improvements can be expected compared to existing systems. As it can utilize the – generally slow – wind at quite low altitudes, the height of the final structure will remain much lower than the horizontal axis designs offering several advantages:
